Teaching Dolphins to Swim

Posted by admin92 under blogging

I bet you have never heard about someone teaching a dolphin to swim before. Well I guess that isn’t totally true and dolphins learn to swim very well on their own. They aren’t born to swim with humans though and teaching a dolphin to swim with us has to be a hard job. There must be a lot of time and effort that goes into the trainng process of teaching dolphins simple commands. I guess once they learn how to take commands from their handlers, they can be move up the scale in learning. It usually only takes a bucket of fish to get a dolphin going and this is their reward for doing simple command. It’s just like the way you would train a dog and give them treats after obeying. The dolphins prefer something a little more fresher than a doggy treat and a fresh fish to gulp down is fine with them.

I have never swam with the dolphins before but it must be exciting to do. I could see it being a little scary too, because a dolphin has a fin like a shark and has a similar body shape too. Dolphins are friendly around humans and they wouldn’t intentionally harm us. Working with them in water and the amount of power they can generate from swimming probably does lead to some injuries. For the most part, swimming with the dolphins is very safe and I have seen kids doing it before. There is an swimming with the dolphins on my to-do-list and I look forward to the day I can check that one off.

making money online

The blogging world has exploded over the last few years due to people wanting to share their thoughts and opinions with the world. What started out as a way to share personal journals with friends and family has turned into a multi-billion dollar business. Now there are numerous ways to make money online using your blog. From selling ad space, to getting paid to blog to write about products and companies that are looking for extra publicity.

One blog that we came across at kuakurta.com provides some good resources into various blogging companies and articles on ways to make money online. As I visited the blog it is clean and well laid out with different categories to help you find various information. There are different stories about internet marketing and reviews on various companies that can help any blogger monetize their content. One interesting note was the way they had ad space for sell. They are using one of the newer forms called Peel Away Ads that reside in the corner of the blog. I believe this may be a new form of ads since they are not intrusive and can be eye catching.

I have had the great privilidge of owning and writing to a few blogs over the past two years. When I first started it was a way for my parents and long distant relatives to stay up on what was going on with our family and kids. Since I am horrible about sitting down and writing letters and emails work to a point. I wanted to a way to show the latest pics and updates on the kids soccer and baseball games. Since my introduction to the blogging world I have learned so much and meet quite a few people. Although not face to face but through blogs and email. I am always curious on why people blog and mos of the time you can see a central them throughout their posts. One such blogger is Patrick Curl. Patrick Curl is trying to see if he can lose weight and make money online. By using his blog as a personal motivator to help him loose weight he has also committed to donating 25% of earned revenue to the American Diabetes Association. This is a great concept because he his putting his personal goals out for the world to see and this will provide the motivation to be a constant reminder on why he is blogging.

I wish Patrick great success in his blogging travels and hope that we can help in some small way towards reaching his goals. He also has a pretty interesting blog that surrounds blog contests which is just getting started but he has a great vision on how to make all those who contribute part of the earnings.
