We recently received a box of fortune cookies from an online social network that we contribute to occasionally. The site is HubPages.com and they have a great network of people where you can write your own Hubs and then they share the traffic and revenue that is generated that are produced for your articles. It is not like getting paid to blog, but rather joining a large social community where you can write and comment on each others writings and life’s lessons. The idea behind the fortune cookies were to give out to friends and family as they had a great little message about Hubpages.com and also my very own referral link that if they sign I can receive a certain percentage of traffic that they generate to their hubs. Great idea and it looks like we will be having chinese for dinner tonight with some of the neighbors.

Well since I am a man (last time I checked), I thought I might could give some gift suggestions for the ladies looking for a gift for the man in her life. It all depends on what type of man you have; when you decide on that perfect gift. Let’s say he likes music or maybe plays in a band. That tells me he likes entertainment and look for something in the entertainment industry. Perhaps a movie about the story of a band or a  home theater system might be a good gift for him. Consumer Generated Media (CGM) is making it’s mark in the online blogging world.
